Obituary of Grace MacKenzie

Passed away at Columbia Forest Long Term Care, Waterloo on Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Loving mother of Gerry MacKenzie and his wife Jo, and Brenda MacKenzie.

Remembered by grandchildren Angela and Mark MacKenzie and great-grandchildren Emillee, Jack, and Isabella MacKenzie.

Predeceased by brothers Edgar and Eric MacPhee and sister Edith MacLean.

Grace was a longtime member of the Kensington United Church, UCW of the church and the Lionettes.  She loved her family fiercely and had many close friends. Loved returning to her home in Sheet Harbour N.S. and fond remembrances of summers spent at the family cottage on Long River, P.E.I. Now gone to be with Dad, the love of her life.

Grace’s family would like to thank Columbia Forest LTC for the loving care over the last four years.  Teresa thanks all as well.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life for Grace at a later date.
