Obituary of Dennis Leonard Rendall

Dennis passed peacefully at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Christine for over 60 fantastic years. Loving father of Keith (Henny), Lynn (John) and Craig (Lynn). Fun and proud grandfather of Scott, Sharlene, Shannon and Blake.

Dennis was highly respected at Mutual Life, where he dedicated 32 years. After emigrating from Scotland in 1959 he worked at Mutual’s Vancouver, Brandon and Hamilton Branches, then on to Head Office in Waterloo.

He was “lively” as a child and maintained that demeanor as an adult. His favourite things to do were to play golf, badminton, tennis, bridge and he most cherished time with family.

Cremation has taken place as per his wishes.

Dennis’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 12:00 noon – 1:45 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Reception to follow.
