I have precious and fond memories of Uncle Don (& Aunt Helen). I had the privilege of visiting them in Waterloo in the early 90's and they visited our family on several occasions when in Cleveland. They also made a special effort to celebrate with our family when our parents reached anniversary milestones - 50, 60 and 65. I have pictures and video of them on those occasions.
What a very special man! When visiting with him, I felt like I knew him very well - he was just like his brother (my father). I have a few pictures of them both (along with Uncle Bob and Aunt Kay) hanging out together when they were children. Our grandparents are also in some of those pictures.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have known him and wish to send all my relatives a message of love and encouragement. May God comfort your hearts and warm your souls with the many precious memories. We will see him again!
