I had the joy of living beside the Tyler family the first 9 years of my life in Dashwood Ontario. Since I was an only child, the Tyler kids became my chosen brothers and sisters and I spent many hours at their home. My one aunt called me "Katie" Tyler. Mona and Marian were my closest friends as Bernice was the big sister but I remember her well. I had the pleasure of talking to Mona many years ago and she kindly sent me a photo of the family which I treasure now that so many have passed on since then. I also spoke to Bernice by phone after noticing an announcement of a special wedding anniversary. I always wished I had a photo of Mr and Mrs Tyler as well. I picture Mr Tyler sitting at the kitchen table beside the kerosene lamp reading with a pencil in his hand to mark the spot if he were interrupted. I see Mrs. Tyler's huge smile ALL the time. I treasure these memories and share in your sorrow at this sad time Sincerely, Joyce Stuckhardt (nee Merner)
