Obituary of George Kennedy

Of Waterloo and formerly of Montreal and Mississauga, George passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener with family by his side.

George was born in 1932 in Belfast, Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1954.

Beloved husband of Lorna (nee Arsenault).  Loving father of Susie Krumel (Bob), Brian (Debra), and Christine Cooke (Ron).  Cherished grandfather of Sarah (James), Justin (Pam) and Scott (Alyssa).

George was predeceased by his first wife Helen (nee Shields), son Ian, brothers Alan and David, and step-son Bobby (Mary Cole).

George’s passions were spending time with family, traveling, gardening, and woodworking.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of George’s life will be held in the Historic Kuntz House of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
