Obituary of Donna (nee Snider) Martin

Donna passed away peacefully at Innisfree House in Kitchener on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the age of 72.

Donna is survived by her partner of 29 years, Bazz van Willigen, their children Greg (Teresa) and Michelle Martin, Tracey, Jeff and Lori van Willigen, their grandchildren Sidney, Eric, Hannah, Madelyn, Luke, Revan, Dexter, and Jackson, her mother Madeline Snider, brothers Lynn (Issy) and Rick (Helga) Snider, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her father Ken Snider Sr. in March, 2018.

Donna retired in 2008 from St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener after more than 20 years of service as a lab tech.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was their number one fan.  Family, travelling, exercising, and socializing kept her calendar full.  Donna was an avid Kitchener Rangers fan and enjoyed playing cards and wintering in Florida.

Cremation has taken place.  Donna’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 1 p.m.
