Obituary of Gladys Mustin

It is with sadness that her family announces the death of Gladys Margaret Mustin at St. Mary’s Hospital on Friday, March 29, 2019.

 

The daughter of the late Herbert and Bertha Eckensviller, she was born in Kitchener in 1927. She was happily married to Marvin Mustin in 1948 until his death in 1990.

 

Gladys is survived by her children Penny Mustin (Ross), Shelley McGill (Jim), Jill Mustin-Powell (Steve) and Marvin Mustin (Pam). She is also survived by her grandchildren Ashley and Brendan McGill, Adam, Jake and Miranda Powell, Zachary and Joshua Mustin.

 

Gladys lived her whole life in Kitchener-Waterloo forging many friendships that have lasted a lifetime. In later years, she travelled the world with her friends, her children and her grandchildren. She was always able to make fun wherever she went but the core of her life was family.

 

Friends are invited to share their memories of Gladys with her family during a   visitation at Trillium Lutheran Church (formerly St. John’s), 22 Willow Street, Waterloo on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 12:00 until 1 pm.  A memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a reception in the church hall. Cremation will have taken place and interment will be at Parkview Cemetery at a later date.
