Dear family of uncle Jirka,
we are grateful that Jirka and we could have met and embraced him six months ago.
At today's last farewell we will accompany him with you in our minds and the candles will burn here too.
We wish you peace and reconciliation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your Dad and celebrate his life. He was a warm and friendly man and it was a privileged having known him.

George was the Engineering Instruction (EI) Editor at Air Canada when I was a young engineer at Air Canada in the 1970's. I always admired his high standards, dedication and passion and appreciated his wry sense of humour. I can still see the red editing marks on my very imperfect EI's.
Never knew he flew Spitfires before coming to Canada!
I remember George well and all those who worked with him in Air Canada's Engineering department will mourn his passing.
