Obituary of Gertrude Kuehner
We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of KUEHNER, Gertrude (nee Dietrich) on Monday, April 15, 2019 just one week short of her 93rd birthday.
Beloved wife of Jack (1983). Loving mother to Judy, Rose Sauer (Dieter-2001), Barbara Anderson, and Wendy Ness (Gord). Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren Cathy, Jackie, Dawn, Bob, John, Bill including newly found granddaughters Elizabeth and Diane. Gert also had twelve great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. Survived by two siblings Beatrix and Bernetta, also predeceased by two siblings Robert and Dorothy (Ott).
Gert was a very determined and independent lady who enjoyed having the odd nice cold glass of beer. At family dinners, we had to block her in the back of the table so she would not be able to start doing dishes before the rest of the family finished their meals. Gert was lucky to be healthy enough to continue driving until just one year ago. Her health was fantastic until February when she started to struggle. Our mom and grandmother will be forever cherished and never forgotten with wonderful memories.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
