Stevens, Janet Mary (Williams)

Passed away peacefully at her home in Waterloo on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 72 years.

Janet was a member of St. Louis R.C. Church, a 50 year member of the C.W.L. and a decades long volunteer with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. 

Loving Mother of Mark (Kristen), Caitlin (Alex), Gran to Crosby, Maxwell, Ellen and Isla.

Survived by her sister Sandra Williams, sister-in-law Erma Williams, special Aunt Mary Reick and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by parents George (1959), Rose (1997) and brother Don (2009).

Friends are invited to share their memories of Janet with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Parish Prayers at 8:30 pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 25, 2019, 10:30 am at St. Louis R.C. Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo with Father Phil Reilly as Celebrant.

Cremation will be followed by a private family interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada, St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto or St. Louis R.C. Church, Waterloo.
