Obituary of Jean Mary Thomas

THOMAS, JEAN MARY

Passed away peacefully, at The Westmount Long Term Care Centre, on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the age of 87 years.

Jean is survived by her three children, Debby (Dave) Grenfell, Cindy (Bill) Dubrick and Dan (Nan) Thomas, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her husband Murray in 2006, her parents Alfred and Esther (nee Heimpel) Dietrich, her two brothers Bill and Don and her sister Marlene in infancy. 

Jean had a career as a Dental Assistant and enjoyed her time volunteering in a nursery school for children with special needs.  Jean’s family meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, Fireside Reception Room, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 3 – 5 pm.  Cremation will have taken place and condolences for the family and donations to the Alzheimer’s Society may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
