Olga immigrated to Ontario at a young age with her family. After growing up in Owen Sound, she met Arend and they settled in Kitchener, where they raised their family. After teaching for many years, Olga specialized in remedial education at Laurentian Hills Christian School. She later tutored at Kumon Learning Centre. Olga enjoyed crafting, cooking, board games and spending as much time with her grandchildren as possible. The last number of years were difficult for Olga as she struggled with many health issues. Despite all of this, she maintained a strong faith in Christ.
