Obituary of Arthur Stanley John Robertson

Arthur passed away at Clair Hills Retirement Home in Waterloo on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the age of 86.

Devoted and beloved husband of Donna (nee Ross) for 62 years.  Dear father of Kelley (Katherine) and Ross (Susan).  Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Shannon, Scott and Barbara, and great-grandfather of Lilly.  Survived by his sisters Margaret Walton and Edith Munro (Bill).  

Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Bertha (Foulds), daughter-in-law Louise, brother Leslie, and sister Estella Reynolds.

Arthur will be remembered for his love of driving, playing cards and local theatre.  Before and after retiring he volunteered his time with various organizations providing rides for others unable to drive themselves.

Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Clair Hills Retirement Home, the St Mary’s Hospital Chest Unit, and his home care palliative team.
