It has been my privilege to visit with Mary once a week at Terrace on the Square, bringing in my dog Merlin to sit with her while we talked. She enriched my life these past fourteen months, in so many ways. Her stories, her friendship, her love of Merlin - I will miss talking of boating, talking about the dogs in her life, talking about her family, the cottage, her years as a nurse, how she met her husband, her years in Northern Ontario as a child - I will miss all that she was, and will treasure her memory always.
