Obituary of Rosemarie Mary Metzger

METZGER, Rosemarie Mary.

Passed away at Toronto General Hospital on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the age of 50 years.  Loving longtime partner of Rob Moore and her kitties Bubs and Squeak.  Beloved daughter of Herb and Frances Metzger.  Survived by her siblings Karen Miersma (Pete), Kevin Metzger (Heather), Rodger Metzger (Lise) and Rennie Cockram (Steve). Rosemarie had a special bond with her nieces Meagan and Rhian and great niece Pippa and great nephew Nolan and will be fondly remembered by her broader family of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her sister Kim Metzger.

Rosemarie was a valued employee of the Kitchener Public Library. She was an avid reader, writer and assisted others at Core Literacy.  Sunday school classes brought out the best in her; in addition, she shared and sent out weekly scriptures to others to reflect on.  Rosemarie was a loyal friend to many including her kittens. Family and friends also indulged in her culinary talents of cooking and baking. She also enjoyed spending time knitting, crotcheting, doing needlepoint and sewing.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Rosemarie with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland Avenue, Kitchener on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11am. Cremation will follow.
