Obituary of Betty Hiller

Passed away peacefully on June 6, 2019 at Heritage House LTC at the age of 90.

Betty is survived by her sister, June Moyer, and lovingly remembered by her five nieces,

Beth Brubacher, Patricia Reesor (John), Jeanette McNeill (John), Terri Schulz (Eric) and Julie Moyer.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Grace Hiller, and by her nephew-in-law, Murray Brubacher.

Betty was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo and was best friends for 53 years with Eleanor Thompson. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and church family. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the amazing staff at Heritage House, St. Jacobs where Betty spent the last few years of her life.

A memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Snell officiating. Burial has taken place. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room at the funeral home.
