Obituary of Elizabeth Stella Cumming

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Clair Hills on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the age of 89 years.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Cecil in 2016, Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Lexi (Dan) Amatruda and son Keith Cumming, grandchildren Brendan Dooley (Shae Jones), Jill Zappitelli, Terrance Kosikar, Tara Maksym (Jeremy Sepers), Danielle (Chad) Hunter and seven great grandchildren. Also remembered by her niece Shelagh Pomeroy, nephews Michal and Christopher Pomeroy.  Predeceased by her parents Robert and Ruth (nee Rhodes) McHoul, and sisters Geraldine McHoul and Ruth (Al) Pomeroy.

Liz and Cec cherished their family memories at the cottage in Gobles Grove. For many years, they enjoyed singing in the choir at Trinity Anglican Church in Cambridge and traveling with their friends to Gatlinburg Tennessee. Knowing mom is now together with dad brings us all comfort.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Elizabeth with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 2:00 – 3:15 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Friday at 3:30 pm followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment will take place at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Cambridge at a later date.
