Obituary of Joan Curtis Haugland

Surrounded by loving family Joan Curtis Macquisten Haugland passed away peacefully and with grace the morning of Monday July 8, 2019.  Survived by her loving husband Kaare Haugland, son Andrew (Eden), daughter Christine, Grandson Tyler and Granddaughter Sydney, adoring sister Nancy Lagimodiere (Michael), Nephews Derek (Katie), Jeff, and Great-nieces Sofia and Jade.

Joan was known for her incredible love of life, her wicked sense of humor and tell it like it is attitude. Joan was a lover of book clubs, wine clubs, crafts, gourmet food and travel.

Our family would like to thank the nursing staff at Grand River Hospital, her palliative nurse as well as the wonderful staff at Innisfree House for their compassion and kindness.

Visitation will be held at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo  on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with light refreshments.
A Funeral service will be held in Hudson, Quebec with family and friends in attendance at a later time.
