Obituary of Robert "Bob" Steffler

February 4, 1928 – July 12, 2019

With sadness, we announce the sudden passing of “Bottle” Bob Steffler at the age of 91.

Bob was the second youngest in a family of seven.  He was a valued employee of Labatt Breweries for 46 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Beloved husband of 67 years to Ann Steffler (nee Halter).  Dear father of Carol Rabley-Koch (Chris) and Brian Steffler (Shellie).  Devoted grandfather of Kyle (Colleen), Luke, Jenna, Ali, Krista (David), Brittany (Kyle), Brent (Kelsey) and proud great-grandfather of Evelyn and Elaina.  Survived by his brother Urban Steffler and two sisters Loretta Schnarr and Loreen Freiburger.

The Steffler family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 1-1:45 p.m.  The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. and a reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.  Cremation will take place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
