Obituary of Loreen Dunbar
Loreen passed away at Columbia Forest Long Term Care in Waterloo on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Clarence Dunbar for 63 years. Loving mother of Gord, Barb Monteith (Dave) and Mark (Anne). Dear grandmother to Mandy (Sam), Brenda Johnston (Bryon), Amy (John), Melissa and Ken (Syd). Loving great-grandmother of Carolyn Johnston.
Loreen was a proud charter member of Parkminster United Church and a long time devote to the choir. She also loved to perform with Kitchener-Waterloo Musical Productions. Loreen worked as a Laboratory Technologist at K-W Hospital and in the private sector before working with Clarence in the office at Dunbar Electric.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. A memorial service to celebrate Loreen’s life will be held at Parkminster United Church, 275 Erb St. E., Waterloo on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall at the church.
