Obituary of Beatrice Esther Meirowski

(nee Bechtel)

Formerly of Kitchener, Beatrice passed away, with her daughter by her side, at Norview Lodge Nursing Home in Simcoe on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in her 90th year.

Daughter of the late Eden and Maryette (Rudy) Bechtel.  Predeceased by her husband Clayton (2001).  Loving mother to Pauline (Dale) Rennie of Harriston, Donald (Pamela) of Kitchener and Mary (Stephen) Messenger of Simcoe.  Cherished and loved by six grandchildren, Daryl, Darren, Sarah (Stephen), Laura (Derek), Tracy (Kevin), Scott (Caitlin), one great-granddaughter, Kaylee, and two great-grandsons, Corbin and Lucas.  Survived by sister Florence Moncur and twin sister Bernice Moncur.

Predeceased by twin great-granddaughter and great-grandson, Natasha and Alexander (2016), brothers Clayton, Willard, Elmer, and sisters Mable, Vera and Verna.

Friends and family will be received at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m.  The memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception.  Interment at St. Agatha RC Cemetery, St. Agatha will follow the reception.

Those wishing to make a donation in Bea’s memory are asked to consider St. Mary’s General Hospital, the Alzheimer Society of Norfolk, or Norview Lodge, Simcoe.  Donations may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.

Bea’s family wishes to extend most sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Norview Lodge for the outstanding care and kindness they extended to Beatrice during her stay there.
