Jeff, so sad to hear of your loss. It certainly sounds like your dad was an amazing person and although I never knew him at all, I know you and your children and I can tell that whoever raised you and instilled the family values that I see in you must have been an amazing person.
The support of family and friends is so very important during these very difficult times so make sure you look after your needs by surrounding and immersing yourself in both family and friends. One of the best healers is being able to get together and laugh and/or cry over the various memories that you all have of your dad. These memories will always keep him near to you all.
