Dearest Freiburger family: I am so sorry that we were out of town and not able to attend the visitation or funeral for your Dad. Both your Mom and Dad were so very special to us...I have fond memories of your Mom in the office at St. Michael's....she was always so helpful and always with such grace and kindness. Your Dad was also such a wonderful man and we always had a little chat when we met at Mass on Sundays mornings, He had a great sense of humour and his faith was very important to him. You were all very blessed to have such a very special Mom and Dad...please take comfort in knowing how much they were both so loved and respected. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you bid farewell to a sweet and gentle man. His kindnesses and many memories of sharing his vegetable bounties and sweet conversations extolling pride of all of his children when he visited Mom will remain. She adored Uncle Ralph and we are sure he was welcomed into heaven with great joy by all. It is never easy to say goodbye to one so loved . Be kind and gentle to yourselves as you mourn .
