Obituary of Robert Calvin Allen

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Lisaard House, Cambridge, ON at the age of 87 years.

Survived by his children Fran Amato (Mike), John Allen (Phyllis St. Hill), Jamie Allen (Ann), Bryan Allen (Puspa).

Loving grandfather to Robert and Marc Amato, Ben and Katie Allen, and Bradley Allen

Predeceased by his loving wife Nancy (nee Longo), his parents Lionel and Effie Allen, in-laws Dominic and Victoria Longo, brother Harvey Allen (Joan), sisters Marg Joseph (Walter) and Fran Rigby (Brian).

Bob was greatly loved and will be missed by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Parish Prayers will be held at 4 p.m. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 173 Lourdes St. Waterloo on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Rafal Toman as Celebrant. Reception to follow in the church hall. A private family interment will take place.
