Obituary of Marlene Mabel Leeman

Marlene passed away peacefully at University Gates, Waterloo on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the age of 86 years. 

Survived by sisters Carol Otterbein (Edward) and Audrey Leeman.  Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Predeceased by her mother Myrtle Baetz, aunts Majorie Downes and Mabel Dahmer and brother-in-law Edward Leeman.

Marlene was a passionate Office Manager and had an expansive career, including roles at Dominion Life, Lang Tanning, Carter Brothers, Superior Sanitation, Laidlaw Transport, Kitchener Dairies and in her “retirement” worked at Christ Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 10-10:45 am. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 am. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room.  Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.   

The family would like to extend deep gratitude to University Gates and the staff in the Hagey Neighborhood, for the outstanding care and compassion Marlene received while living there.
