I enjoyed meeting with Darren when he came to Community Cupboard at my church on Mondays. We just clicked and he would wait until I was free to help him pick out food. Darren was always outside the CIBC on King and Queen in Kitchener and we enjoyed chatting whenever I saw him on my walks.
I'll miss seeing him on Mondays and was sorry that due to hurting my leg I was not able to get up to the church for the memorial service. I was thinking of Darren at the time.
