Obituary of Paul Henri Seems

Paul passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the age of 73.

Paul is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tracy Seems-Jellis and her husband Darren Jellis and Laurie Seems and her partner Michael Bennett; granddaughter, Ophelia Bennett; grand-dog, Scotch; sister, Claudette Seems; brothers, Charles Seems (Robert Labine), Eric Seems, and Daniel Seems (Ann Marie); and his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Dorilla Olive Mazerolle and Euclid Francis Seems; and brother, George Seems.

Before retirement, Paul was a Sales Manager for Dow Chemical for 29 years, travelling much of the time all over Canada and the U.S.  During his retirement years, Paul took up golf and even became a course marshall for a time.  He continued working through much of his retirement as a Car Jockey for Avis, always happy to be on the go.  His love of music and song became a big focus as well.  He happily spent his Tuesday nights singing with the Waterloo Regional Police Mens Chorus and getting his friends together for karaoke regularly.

The family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  A memorial service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.  A reception in the funeral home’s Fireside Room will immediately follow the service.
