Obituary of Joan Jones

JONES, Joan (nee Costello).

Joan was born on January 25, 1928 in England and passed away on November 1, 2019 at the Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care Residence in Kitchener. She married Robert Trevor Jones on March 24, 1950 in Liverpool, England. He predeceased her on October 20, 2002.  Together, they immigrated from England to Canada in the early 1960s.  They were avid members of the KW Amateur Radio Club and Joan was herself a talented amateur artist.  Survived by her very good friends Helen Butler and Melanie Campbell and predeceased by her good friend Patricia Williams. 

Sincere thanks to the staff of Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care, who have provided Joan’s care for 12 years.  Thank you also to two very special care workers, who provided additional daily support and comfort to Joan during many of those years. 

Cremation has taken place and interment will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 2pm. in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
