Obituary of Barry Witmer

Barry passed away at his home in Waterloo on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 72.

He is survived by his children, James Witmer (Alex Douklias), Jon Witmer (Sophie Amberg), Jeremy Witmer (Laurie), Julie Chipman (Art) and grandchildren, Brooklyn, Michael, Noah, Ana, Kate, Kayla, Tristan, Emma and Stephanie.

Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy (nee Miller) Witmer.

Barry enjoyed the simple things in life like playing cards with his friends and spending time at home.  He was especially devoted to his children and grandchildren.

Barry’s family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 10 – 11 a.m.  A memorial service to celebrate Barry’s life will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday.  Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to a reception in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.
