Obituary of Judy Fukuyo Umetsu

UMETSU, Judy Fukuyo

1926 – 2019

Passed away at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the age of 93 years.  Beloved wife of the late Douglas Umetsu (2008) for 58 years. Loving mother of Randy and his wife Kim. Proud grandmother of Alexander and Jordan.  Survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Predeceased by her parents and siblings. 

Judy will always be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart and love for nature and animals.  Her passion was taking care of her family and she was overjoyed with the arrival of her grandchildren.  The Umetsu’s owned businesses in the Hamilton/ Ancaster area, selling Ancaster Lanes when they retired.  Judy enjoyed travelling to Hawaii and Florida and traveled to Bahamas until she was 90.
