Obituary of Louella Marie Wicks

WICKS, Louella Marie

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Trinity Village Long Term Care Centre on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the age of 85 years.

Predeceased by her husband Marlow in 2006, Louella is survived by her sons, Phil Wicks (Michelle), Paul Wicks, her grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Justin, C.J. (Katrina), Victoria (Daniel) as well as her great-grandson Ian Michael.

Louella worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at many hospitals throughout Ontario. She worked with the Children’s Aid Society as well as Mutual Life. She was one of the founders and became the assistant director of The Developmental Centre. 

Friends are invited to share their memories of Louella with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 11:00 am.  A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room.  Interment will take place at Blackburn Cemetery at a later date.
