Dearest all of you - one great soul is truly going to be missed. My parents and I shared some good old memories that lay warm to their heart from long time ago in Sweden, Ektorp. Ulf was a great spirit who really brought his personality to our family. My parents who sees Ulf as one of their oldest friend are sending their thoughts to all of you. We will be thinking of you all.

Dear Jennifer, Tiffany, David and family. Ulf was definitely the larger than life Swede that you described. I will always remember when Ulf and Jennifer moved to Waterloo and were at Lincoln Road regularly. Ulf always had a story to share that put a smile on my face. He will be sadly missed. Our sympathies to you and your family. We are so sorry to miss the funeral this week.

Ulf Svensson was the brother I longed to have. Like brothers, we often disagreed on many subjects -- mostly politics and social issues -- but we shared a common root of love of God, loyalty to family, seeking of truth. We also shared Swedish ancestry. He was a real Swede from Sweden. I was a couple of generations removed from the Old Country. The same symmetry was true with our wives' Irish origins. We met in 1973 when Ulf came to Canada ahead of his family to seek a manufacturer for his portable electrostatic air cleaner which he entrusted to our company to pilot a test manufacturing run. Unfortunately, marketing of the test run of product became a challenge. Through it all, we clicked personally as did our families. Though our meetings through the years became less frequent, when we did get together it was like no time had passed. Also, in every meeting with Ulf, I always learned something valuable. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for our next reunion in God's domain. My wife Cathy joins me in mourning his loss and extending our sympathy to Jennifer and their children and grandchildren.
