Uncle Rudy was a close friend of our family's, and very much an uncle to Deborah and I growing up. Whether he was helping with our roof and leaky chimney, bringing us the latest pick of fresh seasonal apples as he always did, or telling us about his (latest) visit to Austria, Rudy was a very dear friend who will be sorely missed.

To All of the Family of Rudy Mehlsack It is with great sadness that my husband and I heard the news about Rudy passing. Out of all the tenants in our building we enjoyed talking with Rudy the most. He was such a gentleman and a very caring and pleasant man. Rudy worked very hard around the gardens of our building to keep everything looking so beautiful. He did this volunteer work because it gave him such pleasure. He so looked forward to spring and summer to start the gardens again and again every year. We will never be able to look at those gardens again without thinking of Rudy. May he rest in peace and we will always remember this kind gentle man. He will be sadly missed.
