Warren was an intelligent, kind, thoughtful, humorous, and positive man. I will miss seeing him and will always treasure the words of encouragement and perspective he provided in my own difficult moments.
It was a privilege to have known such a true gentleman, and I will miss him dearly.

Warren was a kind, caring, and intelligent man. I loved his sometimes silly but always warm and welcomed humour. He never forgot to ask about others he knew may be struggling. He could seem philosophical and a little stoic about life but I never knew him to be pessimistic or passionless. He just seemed to be saying in a very considered but simple way: "This is life and you just have to do the best you can." I always admired and learned from his apparent acceptance of life as it is. He was especially admirable for how deeply committed he was as a husband and father. Warren, I will miss you. May your memory be a blessing to us all.

Warren, the world is a sadder place without you here. You were a great Father, a superb Husband, devoted Son and Brother, wonderful Grandpa and Uncle and the best brother-in-law the world has ever seen. Your enthusiasm for life, adventure and learning new things always amazed me. When something needed to be done with no hesitation you accomplished it. You were never too busy to help one in need. You touched many lives in wonderful ways – you will truly be missed. I am going to focus on all the good times we as a family had together through the years.
The best description I have for you is “A life well lived”
Love Cheryl, Sara & Emma

My deepest condolences to Dr. Law's family. I met Dr. Law in 1992 when I cut my finger while doing dishes. I presented at the emergency room where I underwent reconstructive surgery, done by Dr. Law. His skills were outstanding and my finger is as if nothing ever happened. An amazing surgeon.

I first met Warren in 1991 when I invited to dinner all of the group that went to Finland in 1968 as part of the Hart House Finnish Exchange, Erkki Tikkanen who had come to Canada in 1967 was in Canada and wanted to organize a reunion of the 67 Finns and 68 Canadians for 1992. So I invited all these strangers to my home and the reunion for 1992 was established. Warren continued to support the Exhange financially and also obtained employment one year for a Finnish speech therapist student. Warren had been in contact with me in October about attending the Hart House 100th Anniversary Gala but later declined. Warren was very supportive over the years of the Exchange. I always enjoyed talking to Warren and especially his sense of humour. I want to offer my sincere condolences to Warren's family. There are many people connected to the Exchange who remember and treasure knowing Warren.

We didnt know Dr. Law personally but he came into our lives when our youngest daughter was born with an extra digit. Dr. Law was understanding of our fears and guided us through a difficult time. The surgery was done by the time our daughter was 3 months old. She has complete use of her thumb thanks to a dedicated and experienced doctor. Our daughter is a grown married woman with a little boy of her own. Thank you Doctor Law. Our condolences to the Law family.

Warren was a remarkably kind person. It was often hard to find a consultant to take care of diabetic foot ulcers that required surgical debridement and ongoing monitoring. He never turned down this humble work. I am privileged to have known him as a kind and generous colleague.
My condolences to the family.

When I went from Vancouver to Halifax to continue my medical training, I had the good fortune to start on the Plastic Surgery ward with Warren as my supervisor. His kindness and generosity initiated a friendship of over 40 years. I admire him greatly and am so saddened that he had to leave us so soon.
