Jim always greeted me with a happy salutation. I would be speeding by with my bike, at Paul Bunyan, but made sure I always stopped to talk with him and his wife. A simple how are you, how are your folks, nothing heavy. And then he'd let me know when Mike and his family were coming up. Then I'd wave and speed away... Looking back at it, I suppose I felt safer at the campground knowing there were good people like Jim Stickles around.
My father (Kendall), my self, and the rest of my family send our dearest condolences to Mike, Shannon, Skip and Pat as well as the rest of Jim's family and friends.
