I can only say that Anne was one of my favourite Kuntz' I spent many a year chumming with her brother Paul and it seemed that we somehow ended up at Bob and Anne's place. When you occupied the house on Carlaw Ave., that brought back even more memories of the nights Paul and I would come home only to the rath of Oscar patrolling the downstairs of the house. Great times and wonderful memories. Hope you meet up with Bob soon! Love, Dave Hinschberger

Anne had such a loving and welcoming heart. She opened her arms up to our family and showed us nothing but kindness and love immediately. Flying home with Anne from out East was a great time to get to know her better. She was such an interesting and intelligent woman who made extremely meaningful conversation. At our wedding she gave the “youngins” a go on the dance floor as she tore it up like no other! Her energy was contagious that night and everyone was feeling it. She was an inspiring matriarch of her family with a genuine heart. We are blessed to have known her and our hearts extend to the family. May you all be filled with strength and peace and this difficult time.

Dear Bill, Fran, Tony, and all the members of the Germann family,
I was sorry to hear about the passing of your dear Mom. I remember meeting her on various occasions, always with good cheer and generous friendship. May our faith in the resurrection of Jesus bring you - and your families - peace and consolation. I will offer the Mass for Anne on Friday, at the request of my brother Jim, and on Sunday on my behalf. God bless you all!

Thanks to the Germann Family for sharing wonderful Anne with us! We so enjoyed Anne's company at our cottage in Port Elgin, for many weekends, every year--dinners and long talks together, crosswords or a book while sitting outside in the shade, games and a beer, at night in the screen porch . Anne's bedroom door still has her initial on it, and it will always be "Anne's room", as long as we have this house.
Anne was an excellent travel companion on our family trip around England. She kept everyone in a good mood, and her curiosity about everything we saw made the experience more interesting for all of us. We still talk about her musings on the origin of Stonehenge!
Anne's patient and loving care for my mother, Mary, while Mom was recovering from two accidents, was a lifesaver! We will never forget her kindness and generosity, her hearty laugh, her competitive spirit, her willingness to debate and discuss, and her refreshing readiness to tell it like it is! Anne was keeping it real for all of us, and we will miss her dearly.

I have so many great memories of Auntie Anne that I don't know where to begin. As my sister Anne said, Auntie Anne was like a second mom to us. After our mom, Doris, died, she made sure we knew that she was going to look after us all. And she did. I could talk to her about anything and she would patiently listen and only occasionally raise her eyebrows - a mannerism that Fran inherited. The Germann and Karai families spent lots of time together at the Belwood Lake cottage and at the beach in Port Elgin. Even with 13 kids under foot, I don't recall Auntie Anne ever really losing her cool. My best memory of Auntie Anne was of the never-ending Boggle game that she and my Mom played. I occasionally joined in but inevitably gave up as AA was near impossible to beat.
Auntie Anne - I hope you and Doris are having a Boggle blast in heaven. I will miss you very much.
Jim, Fran, Tony, Bill, David, Charlie, Bird and Louise, please know that I'm thinking of all of you.
Much love,
Carol Johnston and family

Our fondest memory of Auntie Anne was that we both share her as our very special Aunt. She was our “matchmaker” bringing us together as a couple some 32 years ago . She give us the best toast at our wedding, saying “they are both my niece and nephew”.
There is no better gift she gave us and we will forever be eternally grateful for her love and kindness. Our thoughts and prayers for Anne’s children and their families. John and I will miss her dearly.
With much love,
Sharon nee (Germann) & John Karai and family xo

Aunt Anne was like a second Mom to me. I was named after her and I carry that name with pride. When my own Mom, her sister Doris, struggled in her final journey, Aunt Anne opened her home to her. It wasn’t easy but Aunt Anne took it all in stride. As families, we were very close, that closeness continues today.
My sincere condolences to Jim, Fran, Tony, Billy, Dave, Charlie, Bird and Louise.
