Walter and Shirley: So sorry to see that your Mom has passed away. Had plenty of great conversations with her in her kitchen having coffee and Cheese Whiz on toast. Goes back many years to when we were neighbors. Sorry, I am unable to attend the funeral service because I am in a Convalesent Care facility with a broken leg/ankle from a car accident. Thinking of you as you prepare yourselves to say goodbye to a wonderful lady/Mom. Prayers are with you.

My condolences on the passing of Bernice. She was one of a kind. I have many memories of sitting with her on the back of a tractor planting in the field. and then selling those same plants at the market together. No matter where you went with her she knew someone..... and someone knew her. And that smile! I will always remember her smile.

Such a special person! Strong and genuine, Bernice touched the lives of so many people—remembering each of them and their stories with legendary accuracy. Her ‘all-knowing’ smile will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Love to Walter, Julie, Adam, and Shirley.
