Obituary of Angeline (Angie) Jean Ward

(nee Schmidt)

Angie passed away peacefully, at the Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital, on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the age of 71.

Angie was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, William Keith Ward, on December 3, 2012 and by her parents, Valentine Schmidt and Nettie Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Sands, son Bradley Ward, beloved granddaughters Ayla and Angie, sister Joyce Foster, and brothers Kenneth and Gary Schmidt.

Cremation and interment at Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo have taken place. A memorial service to honour Angie’s life will be held in the Chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Please wear a face mask and observe physical distancing. A reception in the funeral home’s Fireside Room will immediately follow the service.
