A beautiful tribute to an inspirational woman who was the walking definition of what it is to be a lady and a Christian. Her beautiful soul shone upon her face as she lived a life of "loving one another" with everyone she met but, I think, with a special heart for children. As she attended Suddaby School in the 1920s and as my daughter's class was representing the 1920's during their 150th anniversary, Mrs. Stauffer attended their anniversary recital and sat in a place of honour in the front row. My daughter and her classmates were in awe of Muriel. I know they sensed a special love from her and perhaps a kindred spirit as Muriel maintained a sense of youthful joy and exuberance.
Our thoughts are with you as you grieve the loss of her physical presence with you. I know the thought of her being back with your Dad; Linda; and all of her family, in the presence of our Heavenly Father, will bring a smile to your lips.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. Your mom & dad were always so kind to us.
Reading this announcement brought back so many beautiful memories... as a child: being invited into the kitchen through the side door on Queens Blvd to secretly enjoy some fresh baked cookies with her... her beautiful smile & the love she always gave so generously
We were the luckiest neighbours.
Sending all of you my sincere condolences

My sincerest condolences to all the family. Your mom (and dad) we’re always caring and accepting of us as next door neighbours and I have many fond memories of her. Reading her obituary just now, brought those memories back very vividly. I know that these are difficult times with not being able to have visitations and a funeral service that I’m sure your mom would have liked, is only making your grieving worse. Know though, that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Best wishes and I hope you are all well.

Dear Susan, Richard and family, my most heartfelt wishes sent to you. What an amazing woman and how lucky you were to have her so long. It is extra difficult during the current pandemic, to lose a loved one. Although you won't have our physical hugs and love, please know that you are surrounded by prayer, and upheld in the loving arms of Jesus. May you find comfort in spiritual hugs at this time.
Sending you my love and warmest biggest virtual hugs,
Lori

I met Muriel at services from time to time, as a newer member of St. Stephen's. Though I didn't get to know her well, I send my condolences to her family.
