My memories of "Mr. McCauley" go back to the 1970's when I would spend time at your house after school or on weekends with my good friend Joan. Always with a smile on his face, he took time to greet me and make some small joke, making me feel welcome. A kind man. He is watching from heaven now.

Marjorie and family, our sincerer condolences on the loss of Tom. I initially articled for Tom at MRBG in 1968 and after getting my CA had Tom's subsequent firms - Peat, Marwick, then KPMG -perform the audits of my companies. Tom was a mentor for me in the early days of my accountancy training, always the gentleman and professional in what he did. A life well-lived is a life you'll remember with love.

Marjorie, we are so saddened by the loss of Tom but you can take comfort in the fond memories that you and your family have of life with such a wonderful husband and family patriarch. I take pleasure from my friendship with you and Tom through the many years that Bonnie and I were able to share with you in travel, golf, dining, and laughter. He was a true gentleman, who was well respected throughout the community. My fondest memory of Tom was in the late 70's ashe his joined us in a hockey game between the Finance Department at the Region of Waterloo and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell. I was quite impressed that he made that effort and quite obviously was having a good time. Condolences to all of Tom's family.
