Obituary of Tadeusz Spiewak
It is with great sadness that the family of Tadeusz Spiewak, age 60, announces his sudden passing on Tuesday April 7, 2020. Beloved husband to Halina and loving father of Victoria.
Tadeusz (Ted) was born on December 17, 1959 in Poland to Anna and Wladyslaw Spiewak. Survived by his brothers, Stanislaw, Jacek and Janusz and sister Jadwiga. Tadeusz married the love of his life, Halina in Poland and together they immigrated to Canada through Greece. They eventually found their way to Waterloo, where they settled and started building a family.
Ted loved the outdoors and greatly enjoyed camping and hiking with his family and friends. His annual camping trips to Algonquin Park were always a highlight of his summer during which he enjoyed biking, kayaking, hiking and relaxing by the campfire. He greatly treasured countless family trips including hiking travels to Utah, California, Portugal, Spain, Peru and Ecuador.
Ted was a handyman by nature, and could always be found working around the house, gardening and fixing his cars. He constantly had special projects on the go which kept him busy along with helping friends with his gifted hands and creative approaches to problem solving.
He will always be remembered as a loving, positive, caring and hardworking individual. Tadeusz will be dearly missed by all his family and friends in Canada, Poland and the United States.

Life is unending because love is undying, and the boundaries of this mortal life are but a horizon, and a horizon is but the limit of our sight. Lift us up, strong Son of God, that we may see further! Strengthen us in faith that we may see beyond the horizon! And while you prepare a place for us, as you have promised, prepare us also for that happy place, that where you are we may be also, with those we have loved, forever.”

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, a private family service will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be scheduled in the future.
