My best friend, as a young man, was Bryan Boldt so I spent many happy days at the Boldt's home. Marg always made me feel so welcome with her ready smile, positive attitude and snacks. She encouraged me to play the occasional violin duet with her at the MB church on Ottawa street. Marg was always serving at the church in one capacity or another. Marg and her husband Ed were pillars of that church. They raised three beautiful children and served the Lord their entire lives. Both were treasured friends to many. The Boldt family was a blessing to many in our community. Thank you so much Marg. We know where you are, with whom you are, and that we will see you again. Auf Wiedersehen.

Condolences to Margaret's family. Margaret or Marg as she was known was a loving dedicated secretary at Howard Robertson Public School. Our two children (now in there 40's) attend this school. When Sharon volunteered there, and had need to go to the office, she would always receive a big smile from Marg. Our family connected again with Marg when she became a resident at Parkwood Mennonite Home. Our children reunited with her and enjoyed friendly visits with Mrs. Boldt.
Wendy, we are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time in the loss of your mother. We will miss Margaret and her infectious smile.
Love and Prayers

My condolences to Margaret's family. It's been some years since I last spoke with Marg. I remember her as a caring secretary at Howard Robertson, where we met for the first time when two of our children attended the school. Marg and I chatted by phone several times awhile after she and Ed returned from China.
Peace of Christ be with you in this sad time.

My condolences to Wendy and family. Margaret was a faithful client at Marvel Hairstyling School for many years. Students and staff looked forward to her visit every Friday morning. Margaret was very kind and patient with the students and often volunteered to model for student practical exams. A short time after the school closed we met again at Parkwood, where we shared stories about family, and Margaret’s love of music. I will forever cherish the memories of my dear friend Margaret.
Sending Love and Peace

I remember Margaret well for her gentle, kind spirit, her sweet smile and twinkling eyes during the time that she was a neighbour to my husband, Bill Klassen, at Parkwood. I always enjoyed each encounter with her and her loved ones. May I pay special tribute to Wendy, who would make the long journeys from Pennsylvania to spend as much time as she could with her mother, and to Ron and Gudrun and family members, who also offered on-going love and support -- and others who did as well. And may I echo the family's thanks to the Parkwood staff for their tender care of Margaret. I knew her only during the last few years of her life, but delighted in the glimpses she gave me of the richness and diversity of her life that preceded her time in long-term care. She was a special lady, and will remain so in our memories. May she rest in peace. Dona Harvey

Marg will be remembered always for her kindness and warmth. She was a blessing to many, including our family. Condolences to all by whom she will be missed, and especially to you, at this time, Wendy. The Joy and Peace of Easter was hers, may it also be yours.
Sincerely,
Elisabeth Parsons

Marg sat behind me for several years in the alto section of the church choir where we all shared many a laugh, and even a few tears. She was also a great help to me in the church office.
Godspeed, Marg!
