Sincere condolences to the Lessard family. Uncle Jim has always had a special spot in my heart. I remember times he came to the farm to fly his remote controlled planes. We all thought that was pretty neat. Then there were all the bikes he put together in his back yard from pretty much nothing. I got one of those - a gold, spray painted one. We were blessed with a visit by Uncle Jjm at our home in Owen Sound on one of his carvings excursions when the boys were very young. When he bounced Ian on one knee and Eric on the other, he raised the ire of our Golden Retriever who, fortunately, was on the other side of the patio door. She barked, growled, and bared her teeth at Uncle Jim - who proceeded to increase the "danger" with that teasing twinkle in his eyes.
Good thing Brydie couldn't get near him.
Heaven has gained a great man. May God give his family peace at this difficult time. Love to you all from Mary Beth van Trigt.
