Our deepest condolences to you all in the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I remember Uncle Bob always happy, smiling and joking - even his corny 'Denise and Denephew' whenever we saw him. Wishing you all comfort in having to go through this and grieve at a time of social distancing.

Bob was frequently at the church with Don as they were the property “fix-It” guys at St. Matthews for years. Later I got to know both Helen and Bob better because their granddaughters were pillars of the junior choir. We would often have a good chat when they came to pick up the children after Choir rehearsal. They were a very close and warm family and always so proud of their grandchildren. Helen, my deepest condolences to you for the loss of your life companion.
Corinne Dutton.

As a boy, I grew up with Bob and his family on Shoemaker Avenue. Bob and the Sutherland family were extremely thoughtful and kind to me in those years. I will appreciate the example he set and will forever keep him in my memory.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Bob for many years. But he always greeted me with a big smile and I sensed he had a very warm and gentle nature. God has called home one of his own. Peace be with you Helen and family as you reflect on your past laughs, shared joy and deep love.

Our memories of Bob always include Helen and the family as well. Many of them revolve around our family memories of Mom & Dad too. I always think of Bob and Helen whenever I see the geraniums in the cloister walk. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Bob was such a kind man. He helped our team understand knife sharpening. Never an impatient or unknown and word. Always smiling, giving and helping. God bless him. My prayers are with his family.

Bob is remembered for his easy smile and soft voice. His genuine smile and his thoughtful looks sometimes, moments to remember.
Our condolences to you, Helen and your family. It seems so long ago since we last met, but really, only a blink of the eye to God.
