To Katie’s family,
Our mom, Patricia O’Grady had the pleasure of enjoying time with Katie in 2018. They were together at Sunnyside and later at St Joe’s Hospital in Guelph for a short while. Mom really enjoyed Katie’s company and spoke of her often. I know she helped mom through some difficult days by her kindness. A year ago, we lost our mom and Katie very thoughfully remembered her with a Mass. We were most grateful. Be assured of our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

Nancy and I had the opportunity to join Katie in a recent telephone conversation and we were very impressed on how in tune she was with current events, the pandemic, and family of coarse. We remember Aunt Katie for all the lovely showers she loved to host with every detail carefully executed, while Uncle Bert was banished to the garage.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave, Teresa, Tom and Nancy. Aunt Katie will sadly be missed.

My brothers and sister, (the Carons), were so sad to hear of Katie's passing.
I have fond memories of listening to the "Club" ladies who would meet monthly and talk and talk and talk!!!
I know that my mother, Marianne Caron (nee Huber), would want me to pass along to the family her sincere condolences. Mom and Katie go "way back".
When Mom and Dad moved in to Clair Hills, Mom was delighted to learn that Katie was there, too. And for a few months, they were able to visit and chat. It was so nice for them to spend that time together.
Again, our sincere condolences.

We share in the loss you are feeling. We were very lucky to have been connected with Katie, she was such a classy lady. We loved visiting with her, listening to her great stories and admiring her amazing attention to detail. Her joyful laugh would capture your interest to chat longer to discover more about her interests, thoughts and stories of her past. Her vibrancy will remain in our hearts.
May you find comfort in knowing how much she loved her family and friends and knowing she had a life well-lived.

“Aunt Katie” you will be missed. So sorry for your loss David, Teresa, Tom and Nancy. Neal, Patrick and I will always remember the “Christmas Pizza Parties” you hosted. Great food, conversations and a lot of laughter, especially when you and “cousin Joe” would reminisce. We loved to hear the stories from your younger days.

Lourdes and I send our condolences to the family. Aunt Katie was one of the most kindhearted and resilient people I have known.Always generous and smiling, never complaining, and living every moment. I will never forget our camping adventures and how she managed all the boys; including Uncle Bert! So many good memories.
