To the Gough Family: Eleanor and I both sang in the Listowel Concert Singers together, (high sopranos), and I always valued her friendliness and determination! One time between rehearsal and performance she had supper with me and my family, and before leaving for the performance, one of my daughters took our picture. I will certainly treasurer this picture. For Eleanor’s Family. I am saddened learning of the passing of Eleanor. Eleanor drove to Listowel for several years to sing with Listowel Concert Singers. This choir was comprised of singers from the community in and around Listowel. We were mandated to perform major works and with orchestra. We welcomed Eleanor to our group and marvelled at her singing ability AND her perseverance driving solo to Listowel each week when the roads and weather weren’t always conducive of a pleasant drive.
