I had the pleasure of working with Leon at the Ford Ontario Truck plant from 1969 through 1973. Leon was a good fellow and a good friend who always maintained an excellent management style. Norah & I became friends with Leon and Linda and enjoyed their company. Unfortunately we drifted apart as we got older due to my leaving Ford to work in other manufacturing operations on different schedules and shifts. I just learned about Leon's passing yesterday Sept. 22, 2020 and wish to pass our sincere condolences onto Linda and the Victor Family. Leon was a fellow who will be missed. George and Norah Ward

Linda & Family My sincere condolence on the passing of Leon. My memories of Leon coming into his Dad's Office gave me the impression that he was very much like his Dad & Mom. I worked with his Dad as a Law Clerk & spent 44 yrs.at the Law Firm & Mr. Victor spoke highly of his Son Leon. So sorry to hear this sad passing. Take care, Beth Creighton

I met the Victors when the moved to the country. Vicki was the new girl in my grade six class. I became acquainted with Leon(Mr Victor as I usually called him) not only through Vicki but through many community events. I was welcomed for a few Christmas family gatherings. I met Vicky in the 80’s at Trent University. Soon after we solidified our lifelong friendship. I had the pleasure. Of meeting the family Leon and Linda. At the gorgeous country property in Cambridge. A truly loving family . The years carried on with it. Our weddings and many other life. Celebrations. A beautiful loving family . I feel so sad for those he has left behind. Growing up with Vicki meant growing up with her family; especially her parents. Despite some of the high school heartache and worry we gave Leon and Linda, they always forgave us and were always there for us. I will always remember numerous family dinners, holiday visits and some good healthy educational discussions we passionately shared. He was loved. He made us laugh. He made us cry. He made memories. My condolences to the Victor family. I met Mr and Mrs Victor once when Darin brought 4 of us to the house after the Rockton fair over 25 years ago. His parents open their doors , fed us and Mr Victor was so funny. They left a lasting impression.
