Lorraine was a life long friend. We enjoyed long talks, movies, Canada Blooms, trips through antique barns and walks around Christies Antiques Show. We stopped at all the tables looking at Nippon porcelain, her favorite, jewelery and the elusive cocao pot. I will miss her kind heart and her willingness to try something different. A dear friend that will be sadly missed.

I had the privilege of working with Lorraine for many years at Sir Edgar Bauer Catholic Elementary School. Lorraine was one of the most dedicated educators that I have ever met. She loved each and every student that she had in her class and treated them all with such kindness and love and I know that the students loved her as much as she loved them.
Lorraine always treated the staff with her many goodies and we were all very happy when Lorraine was on" treat duty" as we knew we would be all be enjoying a most delicious treat made by Lorraine.
She always spoke so highly of her family and I could tell how much she loved them all.
Lorraine also had a great sense of humour and one would often find us laughing in the staff room about something!
I am sorry that we have lost touched over the years but I will never forget how kind Lorraine always was to me. She always greeted me with a cheery hello every morning and a smile and wishes for a good night when she left at the end of the day.
I always say that if a person can leave this world knowing how much they are loved, then that is one of the greatest gifts of all. Lorraine was loved by everyone she met and shared her many talents.
May Lorraine be welcomed into the light of God's face and may each of you feel the peace that is the gift of a well loved and well loved life...God bless.

I had the pleasure of working with Lorraine at St. Ambrose, Cambridge. She was a very lively, interesting and free-spirited woman. I enjoyed that about her. Most of our conversations would involve sharing our love of music and the visual arts. You brought much colour into your friends lives. Rest in Peace dear Lorraine. Molly Worden

I had the pleasure of working with Lorraine when we taught together at St. Clement School in Cambridge. The year that I was pregnant with my daughter, she (secretly) worked with the students in my class to design and stitch a quilt for the new baby.
I have kept that beautiful keepsake for these many years and now that same quilt is being used by my daughter to cover her own infant daughter. I will always remember Lorraine's kindness and her creativity.
