As this photo captures so well, her smile and love was genuine, and strong. What an incredible person, Cheryl's joy was with her everywhere. She cared deeply for family and friends and it breaks my heart to see her go. Carolyn and I have had the pleasure of her company countless times. She has touched us and we will miss her very much.

Dear Dave and family: I'm so sorry to hear about Cheryl's death. I will always remember the two of you coordinating Week 7 camper activities for so many years (long before that became a senior staff function). I miss the softball and soccer games in the back field and, of course, the 'Choir Practices' held in the council ring at 11:00 p.m. Most of all we miss your family during Week 7.
Many changes in the neighbourhood, on Trillium Ave., and at Merivale. Keep in touch for updates.
Sincerely, Colleen (and Natasha)

Hello Dave and family;
Thanks to Gaston for letting us know of this sad occasion in your lives. I do not think I met Cheryl Ann, however, I was blessed to spend many driving trips with Dave, and his uplifting views of life, so I'm confident that Dave had a wonderful life partner, and the children had a fine loving Mom. We wish you the best of God's provisions, and encourage you to remember from God's word: "I will never leave you or abandon you, but I will walk with you wherever you need to go, because I love you. Never will I leave you!"--translated into Merv's contemporary words.

My condolences to Dave and family. I am saddened to hear of Cheryl’s passing. We had only recently reconnected through Facebook. I have many happy memories of the times spent together at Red Pine Camp.I still remember the night Cheryl and I got lost in the dark on the way to the Council Ring and crashed directly through the woods. I have never laughed so hard in my life. I am so sorry for your loss.
