I rarely saw Dave after we were teenagers, and not at all in the last 20 years. Drift. He was a bright light. So many good memories. Goodnight Dave.

I treasure Dave's all-consuming exuberance around a new idea, or a clever sentence, or an imaginary competition -- and Dave's brilliantly funny exam essay answer on Julius Caesar's Conquest of Gaul. And Dave's vision and intellect to create a great poem, A Pair of Spectacles. May The Tournament run forever!

In 1984 I arrived at TCS and met David, my roomate for grade twelve. David and I shared many unorthodox adventures together; learning from and challenging each other. Memories of David's passions and wicked sense of humour have stuck with me to this day. I will miss you David.

Trudy and I last talked with David on the front porch 8 years ago. He was on his way to a PhD and we were about to leave Waterloo to return to B.C. When I think of David now, it is not so much Dr. Wilson -- an accomplishment indeed -- but more as a small boy catching sunfish off the dock at Crane Lake on a fine summer day, long ago when we were all young. I am very sad to hear of his death and send my deep condolences to Sheila, Anna, Christopher and Desirée.

To Sheila, Anna and everyone - growing up I will always remember Davey as an enthusiastic member of our posse of neighbourhood kids who played tag together on countless summer nights. He achieved a life long dream of getting his PhD, struggling mightily to get there. May he be at peace now. Sending positive energy across the airwaves now during this difficult time.
Hugs, Mary Granskou

Fond memories of summers at the cottage flood back when a young cheerful Davy who would find anything funny and soon his spark would have everyone laughing uncontrollably. Wise beyond his years, he is and will always be remembered as the smart little Brother to Anna and Chris.
Stand Tall Davy with a Peaceful, Easy Feeling

I would like to express on behalf of the Concordia Chess Club membership our condolences on David’s passing. David was a member of the Concordia Chess Club for more than 30 years. Although academic work was his main priority for the last few years, he was always interested in the activities of the club and will be missed.
